Not booting

I have a centrifuge that not booting, showing nothing but random lines on the monitor. I have changed the battery on the CPU board, I suspect that the BIOS might need to be reset. I know that I will need a keyboard to connect to the CPU and press F1 to access the BIOS. Can anyone give me further instructions. Thank you
