Rotor won’t spin

Turns on fine. Can set speed and time. But when either Short spin or Start/Stop are pressed, it takes a few seconds as if it’s going to begin, but the rotor never spins, and the display resets itself. Neither fuse is blown. Nothing looks burnt on the main board. All cables appear to be connected. No error code displays. Seems like it should be something simple. Not sure what to check next? thanks for any help,
