Door close sensor not detecting door closed.
Hi,
Of course our service contract just expired.
Now the centrifuge is not detecting that the door is closed.
Door error 801
Anything we can do to troubleshoot this problem, before calling Beckman?

Hey, our MAX-XP had the same problem since a while. We assumed a software bug, as it started usually working after a couple of re-boots. Finally booked a visit of the BC engineer - appeared that the excess of the vacuum grease from the O-ring is pushed to the back by the sliding lid, where it accumulates and physically blocks the lock movement. Really straightforward to clean, but it requires "opening" the instrument first.
