Dear Aoassum, Thank you for your enquiry. I suspect that the screen contrast on your pump has been inadvertently adjusted. Dear Aoassum, Thank you for your enquiry. You do not indicate the actual disparity. I suspect that there is a slight time lag between your detector and the PowerStream chromatography software. Also, the Absorbance values of your detector may be set as Absorbance units, in contrast to your PowerStream software, which may use mAbsorbace units. I drew a ccalibration curve and used to creat a new method for acquisition of my unknows. Interestingly, whhen I started acquiring data for my unknowns the chromatogram did not appear in my original folder. When I checked the history tab the chromatogram was registered as queued. What does this imply|?. When I restarted my PC the chromatograms which appeared as queued were lost. What do you think is the problem?

Dear Aoassum, Thank you for your posts of 30 July. I am sorry that we have not replied earlier, but we have recently returned from a two week company holiday. I had requested in my two previous communications, that you contact our company directly, rather than use Lab Wrench. Lab Wrench is a wonderful public forum, but our company, along with many others, is not able to provide the detailed information, such as diagrams, other documents and attachments, which may be sent during direct company contact. Also, if you were to contact us directly, we may be able to locate a trained Cecil distributor within your country, who could help you. I do not think that you have a problem. With PowerStream software, when you use an acquisition sequence, you need to specify the folder in which you would like to save your chromatograms. If you are not specific, then the chromatograms will be saved in a non-specific folder within PowerStream software. With PowerStream software, each chromatogram from a recorded injection, is allocated to the acquisition sequence which was used to actually run the injection. Hence chromatograms cannot be lost.
