temperature says it's high, but the unit is not hot

I'm trying to set the temp to about 37. That is accepted but then I get HI and it reads a current temperature above 45. The unit is not hot, it's sitting at room temp,

Hi, More than likely the problem is with the temperature sensor. If it sends a signal to the processor that is reading 45, and temperature setting below that will give a HI alarm and no heating will occur. If this is an older model, there is another point I'd look at and that is the connection between the card edge connector in the base of the cabinet and/or the main control board. The board is mounted to the vented panel at bottom left side of the machine. Remove the 6 screws the use q pencil eraser to gently clean three copper contacts on the edge of the board. Reinsert the board and test. Be cautious sliding the board back into place. There are copper grounding strips on the bottom of the board that have to be pushed up and tucked in while pushing in the board. Contact me at g.tompkins@infors-ht.com for more information and part information. Thanks, Gary
