BC-5300 – Patient details not saving, software not responding
I am experiencing an issue with a BC-5300 hematology analyzer. When I enter patient details and click Save, the system does not save the information.
Even after restarting both the computer and the analyzer, the problem persists. Once I try to save, the status only shows “To Be Run”, but the analyzer does not run the sample and no results are generated.
I have tried:
Restarting the system (PC and analyzer)
Saving patient details immediately after entry
The problem still remains.
Has anyone experienced this before?
Could this be a software issue, database problem, or configuration error?
Any troubleshooting steps or solutions would be greatly appreciated.
