Raman help! Autocalibration passed and then there was no signal and low laser power.
Could this be due to input mirrors being misaligned? The autocalibration for all lasers and gratings (638 and 785 nm, 600, 1200, and 1800 gr/mm) passed. When I switched to my sample, there was no signal, and the laser power for both lasers was reading in microwatts.
We recently moved the instrument to a new building, and Horiba came out to help with the move and setup. We have used the instrument less than 10 times since the move, and it's also unlikely that both lasers need to be replaced. The instrument worked perfectly the entire day before this happened. A few times, the autocalibration has acted differently since the move, failing all lasers and gratings the first time but passing them the second time. We use 100x for calibration, and I switch to 10x for my samples. We noticed one time when switching the objectives, we were able to get the signal back, and the laser power was back to mW. Then it messed up when we switched back to 10x objective.
Has this happened to anyone? or any other ideas of what this could be? Thank you!
