UV-vis Diplay Screen Freezing

Hello. Has anyone encountered a diplay problem with their UV-Vis spectrophotometer? Our laboratory has Shimadzu 1800 and Hanon i8 spectro and both are currently experiencing the same problem-just white screen on the display. Please any input on troubleshooting would greatly be appreciated. Thank you!
