The ASE 350 was not designed to extract liquids only solid and semi-solid samples. You should look into the Dionex AutoTrace 280 SPE extraction instrument that can extract liquid sample using solid phase extraction.

Yes, ASE has been used to determine dioxins in liquid milk.  You can do this by filling an extraction cell with diatomaceous earth and then pipetting the liquid milk onto the diatomaceous earth.  You would then extract the sample and analyze after the proper concentration or clean-up procedures.

This is not completely correct.  ASE can be used for some liquid samples and has been used to determine dioxins, PCBs and pesticide contaminants in liquid milk samples.
