Waters 481 Detector Autozero Light Remains On

What causes the autozero light to remain on after pressing the reset button?

A few things that may cause autozero. If the Mobile Phase is absorbing, the autozero won't zero the display an obstructed optics path can cause this, remove the flow cell, if it zeroes the the display module may be bad also check the rear I/O terminal strip to see if there is a trigger cable connected.
