i failed to Remove the clamping device for the angle setting

i have a new IKA rotary evaporator RV 10 Basic.

after  i tried to remove the clamping device for the angle setting, i can not set the drive at an angle of approx. 30° because it can not rotated. please help me..

It is hard to tell exactly what your problem is with setting the angle.  Please call tech support for the RV10 800.733.3037 ext 257.  We can walk you through it.
