The lifter are alway broken in a multi-user lab

We have a lot of problem wt our electrophoresis in a student lab.

The lifter are always broken.  Sometime it is only the nylon screw who broke

but often it is tue upper part and agilent sell only the lifter at 1800 $cad.

does someone had seen this problem.
