How can I change gc status from >not ready< to >ready<
The machine is giving the comment >nrdy< while on the computer is >ready<
when pressing start the sample that should be run has status as already done...

Depress the "status" key should tell you what heater, valve, detector or peripheral that is not ready.  You may have to adjust an autosampler setting via autosampler key or enter the gc configuration table via gc configure key to set for example the equilibration time.

Hi Mona

It could be a communication problem, you should have the same status on your computer than on your GC, reboot your GC before your computer and then check if comm is ok. Is it just the diode behind the GC oven door wich has a not ready status?

When you reboot try turning on the computer first and open your Method then turn on the GC.

Hi...ok it is bad problem some time you need wait the GC to be ready may be that flow is not stable so you must check it by flowmeter (digital) and compare it with flow in GC also check (split flow) and cylinder pressure 4 bar is suitable
