Rigol Technologies Named Finalist of Prestigious 2014 EE Times and EDN ACE Ultimate Product Award for Test and Measurement Systems and Boards

Rigol Technologies, Inc. was named as a finalist in UBM Tech’s EE Times and EDN Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards for its DS1000Z Series Digital Oscilloscopes for Test and Measurement Systems and Boards.

Rigol’s DS1000Z Series was selected as a finalist due to its unmatched combination of performance and value for a 4 channel, 70 or 100 MHz oscilloscope. The DS1000Z utilizes its powerful UltraVision technology to provide industry leading memory depth of 12 Mpts standard (optional 24 Mpts), 1GSa/s max. sample rate and a fast waveform capture rate of 30,000 wfms/s. The DS1000Z features powerful math, trigger, and decode functions to offer broad analysis capabilities and an optional model includes a 25MHz integrated 2 channel full function waveform generator.

“Rigol Technologies is extremely proud to be named an ACE Award finalist for our DS1000Z oscilloscope,” stated Robert Bluhm, Vice President of Rigol. “This scope sets a new standard by providing our customers advanced analysis capabilities at an entry level price point. With its uncompromising performance and prices starting at just $585, the DS1000Z delivers our customers unprecedented value for their T&M investment.”

The Ultimate Products of the Year Award – awarded to the most significant product introduced in the last 12 months in 12 categories - is determined by large-scale peer review including the leading voices of academia, industry executives and content experts. Finalists in each category are then chosen by expert editors from both EE Times and EDN with accompanying editorial reviews.

The Annual Creativity in Electronics (ACE) Awards celebrate the creators of technology who demonstrate leadership and innovation in the global industry and shape the world we live in.  These creators, and their innovations, will be recognized at the EE Times and EDN ACE Awards ceremony on April 1, 2014, as part of UBM Tech’s EE Live! Conference.
