PM and Calibration

Hello,

Can you please help me out to solve a mistery related to the required frequency in terms of PM and/or calibration for a T50 unit? My question is related to the equipment itself and not to the electrod. Is there a required frequency from manufacturer?

Thanks a lot,

Angela

Hello,

There is no required frequency from the manufacturer, this is strictly according to the customer's SOP.  But, many customers follow these guidelines: PM's are generally done once or twice a year, calibration of pH electrodes would be done daily if a pH endpoint calibration is being done, titrants are "calibrated" (titer done) every two weeks or when the titrant bottle is replaced.

Thanks,

Jennifer

Could I know which items are revised during the PM, please?

Specfic details are not available. PM service does include;

General technical instrument inspection, cleaning and lubrication of moving parts, alignment correctness of sample positions, operational verification of perpherials, function verification of interfaces.
