HPLC Software problem

We have an HPLC (Varian) 920LC equipment in the lab. It was initaily installed as stand alone,but was later shifted to the network.

This has created a problem where the software can't read the equipment even after re-installation.

How do we correct that???

Please assist!!

I'm not familiar with that instrument, but if it uses LAN communications, I'd first check the IP configuration under the computer's network adapter settings. Firewall settings can also interfere with instrument communication.
