UPS for GC

UPS required to provide external power supply in event of power loss during a run of 2 hours. Problem that if >1 sample in sequence is loaded then v. large UPS required to complete all runs.

1. Does Aglient recommend a system with a feedback loop to the GC to recognise the swtich over to the UPS and stop the sequence after completing the current sample?

2. How else can this be managed without having to get a 12 hour+ backup for the GC (outside office hours)?
